Pharmacotherapeutic group:Cardiothoracic Cardiorenal Agents, Anti-estrogenic Agents. Expert Reference Controlled
Pharmacology:Pharmacodynamics:Cialisis primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction. It works by inhibiting phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5), an enzyme that regulates the activity of the hormone (sildenafil) in the body. Sildenafil relaxes the smooth muscles in the walls of blood vessels and improves blood flow. This action increases the flow of oxygenated blood to the penis. Tadalafil inhibits PDE5, which blocks the action of PDE5. Tadalafil has anti-estrogenic properties by increasing the activity of certain enzymes, such as the androgen receptor and the androgen-like protein, which are involved in the regulation of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) levels. It can also be used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by increasing blood flow to the prostate.
Effects:can be used to treat erectile dysfunction.
The safety and effectiveness of tadalafil has been assessed in a number of clinical trials. The clinical trials are designed to assess the safety and effectiveness of tadalafil. Tadalafil is generally well tolerated and has a good safety record. The safety profile of tadalafil has been assessed in two clinical trials. The trial studies were conducted in the USA and Europe. The trial studies are based on the results of a large meta-analysis. The trials are published between 2004 and 2008, with additional data from clinical trials. The adverse events reported in the trials were generally mild, transient, transient, reversible, and did not increase with treatment.
The safety of tadalafil has been assessed in a number of clinical trials. The results of a large meta-analysis demonstrated that tadalafil has a good safety record in most trials. There were no significant differences in terms of frequency of adverse events between the groups.
1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.

After years of trying, it's finally time to get back on track. Two years ago, I was a consultant for a group of drug companies trying to get Pfizer to stop making Viagra available over the counter. This meant it wasn't the only company trying to get Pfizer to stop making Viagra available.
It was not. Pfizer, one of the world's biggest drug makers, was trying to make Viagra available to the masses.
The company, Pfizer Inc., was struggling with patent expiry. Pfizer lost patent protection on Viagra in 2006.
But Pfizer, an important pharmaceutical company, was able to put a stop to that. The company, known as Symbyax, had been trying to get its patent expiry down by the thousands since Viagra was introduced in 1998.
In 2005, Viagra lost patent protection, which allowed Symbyax to continue making the drug in spite of Pfizer's patent expiry.
Sammamet, a drug for erectile dysfunction that was approved by the FDA in 2006, lost its patent protection in 2008. That meant Pfizer had to come out with a new patent, which had to be filed by Mayday Pharmaceuticals, or Mayday Corporation, rather than Mayday.
As a result, Symbyax lost its patent in 2010. That meant Pfizer had to come out with a new patent for the drug, known as Cialis, rather than Cialis. It also meant that the company had to go public in 2010 to get its drug patent expiry back.
It was not an immediate success, but it was not easy.
In 2012, Pfizer filed an application with the Food and Drug Administration to stop the use of Viagra by consumers. The application was blocked.
In 2013, Pfizer filed an application to stop the use of Viagra by consumers in the U. S. because it was making it available over the counter in certain states. That meant Viagra could not be sold over the counter in those states.
In 2014, the company filed an application to allow Viagra to be sold in the U. under the trade name Vigore.
Pfizer, however, was able to get its patent expiry down by the thousands, which meant that there was no way of stopping Viagra from being sold to consumers without Pfizer's patent expiry.
When it was clear that Viagra, a prescription drug that can help a person get and keep an erection, could not be sold over the counter, a lot of people around the world were asking if there was any way to stop Viagra sales from being available to people who were already using the drug.
In 2014, Pfizer filed an application to stop the use of Viagra by consumers in the U.
In 2015, Pfizer filed an application to make Viagra available over the counter in the U. because it was making it available to people who were already using the drug.
But the application to stop Viagra sales from being available in the U. was not a simple matter of trying to stop Viagra sales from being available to people who were already using Viagra. In fact, in a long list of issues, Pfizer is now moving forward with a plan to expand the market for Viagra, even though it has not yet filed an application with the FDA.
In September 2015, Pfizer filed an application to make Viagra available over the counter in several states, including Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, and South Dakota.
The application was blocked in June 2016.
In October 2016, Pfizer filed an application to make Viagra available over the counter in the U. because it had not yet filed an application for a new application to allow Viagra to be sold to people who were already using Viagra.
In January 2017, the company filed an application to make Viagra available over the counter in some states, including Illinois, and the U.
